My Story
I started this shop back in 1991 with a workbench, a handful of tools, and the patience to learn the craft. What began as work slowly became something I loved, then something I couldn't imagine my life without. For 35 years, I've been cutting, stitching, and shaping each one by hand, the way I always have. Steady, honest, built to last.
The big names took over and the costs kept climbing. At 60, I can't keep fighting it. Closing these doors means giving up the one thing that's defined most of my life. I'm closing Ray's Caps for good.

How does the closing sale work?
Simple. Add any two caps to your cart and the second one is free. Mix and match any styles you like. No codes, no tricks. Just my way of making sure these caps find a good home before the workshop closes for good.

I want you to be happy with your cap. If something isn't right, just email me within 14 days of delivery and I'll make it right. No questions, no hassle. That's my promise.

How are your caps made?
Every cap is cut, stitched, and shaped by hand. After 35 years at the bench, this is the only way I know how to make caps. No machines doing the careful work. No shortcuts on the construction.
How should I care for my cap?
A well-made cap doesn't need much to last. Keep it in a cool, dry place when you're not wearing it, and give it a gentle brush now and then to keep the fabric fresh. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally. Simple care will keep your cap in good shape for years.
